Responsibilities include: Daily interactions with onsite coordinators and get the requirements. Involved in estimations, analysis and design of the requirements. Sharing business experience to the team. Assigning tasks to the team and sending the status to the offshore manager. Creating packages using different tasks in SSIS. Creating stored procedures to load sales data. Creating Batch scripts based on the requirements. Creating Jobs and schedule the jobs to eliminate the manual work. Creating indexes to improve the performance. Validation of the Data and creating unit test plans. Performance tuning. Writing validation queries to validate the data. Creation of the new data bases. Creation of the SSIS folders to the new projects. Providing Database support to the MicroStrategy team. Monitoring of Production Jobs for different projects daily. Working on production failures and restarting the jobs within an Hour. Analysis and fixing the production issues raised by Clients and users.
